1974: Graduates from Dept. of Industrial Engineering and Economics, Tokyo Institute of Technology
1974: Joins Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
1980: Goes abroad and Completes the master’s program at the School of Engineering, Stanford University
(Acquires MS IE and Engineer IE)
1991: Leaves Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
1992: Chief Consultant, Kaizen Consultants Co., Ltd.
2004: Receives the Management System Special Award, Japan Industrial Management Association
2006: Acquires the Doctor of Engineering degree from the Keio University
2018: Awarded 2018 METI Advanced Technology Meister

As the director of Yukio Kakiuchi Professional Engineer Office, Dr. Kakiuchi takes an active role in introducing Monozukuri and Kaizen practice across the glove.
He is also an instructor for the Japan Business Federation.
